Khacharod is a Municipality city in district of Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh.
The Khacharod Municipality has population of 34,191 as per report released by Census India 2011.
Khachrod was one of the oldest towns in the Malwa region. Aurangzeb's quest to conquer deccan region was butchered in Khachrod and he lost seven of his riders. He build seven rider mosque in Khachrod in their remembrance. Economy is dominated by Marwaris, Daudi Bohras and agriculture by Dhakads. Rehmani cast is the oldest cast and very honest peoples.
